Duende Confusion Cajon
Confusion without confusion. Two cajons in one. It is not a cajón with two sounds, but actually two cajóns in one shared body. We present two different constructions, two different materials, two different tension systems, two different types of strings, two different front plates … as mentioned before there are actually two completely different cajóns in only one chassis!
It is a model with two different tension systems: one features the Basic (Standard) structure and the other side incorporates a CL (compression) structure. Change sound simply by turning your cajón. Two different worlds in one box!
Maverick Percussionists who are always researching new sounds will find on the Confusion model that we offer a world of sounds in only one cajón. On the Confusion model we have the chance to play a specific cajón for repetitive and aggressive rhythms (CL) or softer music and nuances (ST-1). Whether you get bored quickly from one type of sound, like to explore different possibilities, stick to one style of music or if you just want to have two cajóns at the same time, the Confusion model is your cajón.

Okumen body, Zebrano front plate and tension system with ST-1 on one side and pine front plate and CL-2 system on the other one. The zebrano front plate gives a smoother, balanced sound, while the pine front plate is mounted on a compression CL-2 with a highly differentiated and aggressive treble and bass sound.
