NAD Masters M10 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier

Just Add (More) Speakers
Like the original M10, the M10 V2 exemplifies the “Just Add Speakers” revolution in hi-fi. But it takes that revolution a giant step further. Along with audiophile-grade speaker terminals, it has two independent subwoofer jacks, whose output settings are adjustable from the BluOS app. The M10 V2 adds Dolby Digital surround-sound decoding. Home-theatre fans can configure a pair of BluOS surround-enabled wireless speakers or amplifiers to play the surround channels, while the main speakers handle the front channels, so that the M10 V2 serves as the hub of a 4.1- or 4.2-channel Dolby Digital surround setup. The M10 V2 transmits the rear channels wirelessly, with very low latency, so you don’t have to run wires around your room to connect the surround speakers.

Complete Control

There are many ways to operate the M10 V2. Use the BluOS app on a smartphone, tablet, or computer to cue up music from your favourite streaming service, or music stored on USB and network drives. Choose some songs from the Spotify or Tidal app on your computer or smart device, then shift playback to the M10 V2. Stream music to the M10 V2 from an iPhone, iPad, or iTunes library via AirPlay 2. Select music by voice using the Amazon Alexa or Apple Siri voice protocols. The M10 V2 is Roon Ready, so you can stream music from a Roon Core server. The M10 V2 can be integrated into Apple, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, and other home-automation systems, so you can control music playback, along with other home systems like lighting, shades, HVAC, and security. Use the supplied remote control to adjust volume, skip tracks, and activate preset commands. Or choose tracks, select sources, and adjust volume and other settings from the M10 V2’s touchscreen. In addition, the M10 V2 can learn commands from your favourite IR remote control.

The Power and the Glory

Created by the award-winning design firm DF-ID, the M10 V2 features a solid brushed aluminum chassis, Gorilla Glass top and front panels, and a bright 7″ touchscreen, with purer colours and wider viewing angle than the screen on the original M10. Behind that gorgeous display lies a sonic powerhouse that delivers thrilling dynamics and exquisite detail. Based on the renowned nCore technology, the M10 V2’s Hybrid Digital amplifier is conservatively rated at 100 watts per channel. Its updated gain algorithms allow higher output levels with inefficient speakers. The subwoofer outputs also have higher gain, allowing for a wider range of subwoofer-main speaker combinations. The ESS Sabre DAC can accept streams up to 24-bit/192kHz. The M10 V2 can stream lossless and high-resolution audio from services such as Deezer, Qobuz, and Tidal; and has full MQA hardware decoding and rendering capability.

Room-Friendly

With its compact form factor and elegant minimalist design, the M10 V2 will blend beautifully into any living space—not just visually, but sonically as well. Like the original M10, the M10 V2 has built-in Dirac Live Room Correction. Using the supplied calibrated microphone and intuitive Dirac app, you can correct peaks and dips caused by your room’s acoustics, up to 500Hz (a full-bandwidth version is available through Dirac). That way, you hear movie soundtracks and music as they were meant to be heard, free of anomalies caused by the listening environment. The M10 V2 can store up to five Dirac profiles for different listening positions, surround setups, or room conditions—for example whether the drapes are open or closed.

Thoroughly Modern

The M10 V2 is the perfect amplifier for the Internet era. With the user-friendly BluOS app, you can play music from your favourite streaming service, as well as locally stored music. But the M10 V2 also plays nicely with external components. It has RCA analogue, optical and coaxial digital, HDMI eARC, and USB Type A inputs, for connecting disc players, game consoles, external drives, media adapters, flat-panel displays, and other components. It also features two-way apt-X HD Bluetooth. With the M10 V2, you can listen through wireless headphones, stereo loudspeakers, a surround-sound setup, or up to 63 BluOS-capable wireless speakers arrayed throughout your home. Hi-fi doesn’t get more modern than this.

M23
Stereo Power Amplifier

Building on NAD’s long tradition of identifying and developing cutting-edge amplification technology, the M23 HybridDigital Stereo Power Amplifier features Purifi Audio’s Eigentakt™ design, a once-in-a-decade innovation that virtually eliminates harmonic and intermodulation distortion. Noise is inaudible, for a completely black background and exquisite micro-detail. Conservatively rated at 2x200W continuous into 8 ohms and 2x380W into 4 ohms, the M23 can deliver live performance levels through any loudspeaker. With its unique combination of features, performance, and value, the M23 represents the new benchmark for the stereo power amplifier.

NAD Masters M23 Stereo Power Amplifier
Pure Power

The M23 employs Eigentakt™ class-D amplifier modules manufactured by NAD under license from Denmark’s Purifi Audio. Purifi’s load-invariant design provides wide, flat frequency response, even into challenging loudspeaker loads. Noise, harmonic distortion, and IM distortion are virtually unmeasurable at all frequencies and output levels. Another benefit of the Eigentakt™ design is extremely low output impedance and correspondingly high damping factor, for iron-clad control of the loudspeaker output. NAD combines the Eigentakt™ design with our own sophisticated switched-mode power supply, which can provide additional reserves of current when needed. Amazingly powerful and transparent, the M23 can deliver 2x260W of peak power into 8 ohms and 2x520W into 4 ohms.

Uncompromised Performance

The ideal amplifier will achieve vanishingly low distortion, ultra-high damping factor, and rock-solid stability with any loudspeaker loud. There are many amplifiers that perform well in one or two of these areas, but fall short in others. Thanks to Purifi’s highly efficient Eigentakt™ design and NAD’s proven switch-mode power supplies, the M23 excels in all three areas – without the excess weight and cost of the old-fashioned linear power supplies and class-AB output stages used with traditional amplifiers. Eigentakt™ outperforms previous class-D implementations by a significant margin, delivering transparent, detailed sound with expansive soundstaging and holographic imaging, at all listening levels and with all types of program material – even during complex musical passages.

Flexible and Powerful

Equipped with single-ended RCA and balanced XLR auto-sensing inputs, three-position gain-control switch, and 12V trigger input, the NAD Masters M23 HybridDgital Stereo Power Amplifier can easily be integrated into a high-performance separates system. Two M23 amplifiers operating in bridged mode can be paired together, each delivering 700W of continuous power into 8 ohms. The M23 amplifier can also be paired with NAD’s award-winning Masters M33 BluOS Streaming Amplifier. With the two Eigentakt™ amplifiers operating in bridged mode, the M33/M23 combination will deliver a staggeringly powerful 700Wpc continuous output.

Elegant and Practical

With its elegant all-alloy casework, the Masters M23 HybridDigital Stereo Power Amplifier is as pleasing to the eye as it is thrilling to the ears. The M23 has the same quality of construction for which NAD’s Masters Series is renowned. Rigid panels and magnetic iso-point feet provide a rock-solid foundation for the M23’s multi-layer circuit boards and intricate internal construction. Truly the M23 represents a new pinnacle in power amplifier design.

M28
Seven Channel Power Amplifier

Completely immerse yourself in the moment with Purifi™.

Purifi Eigentakt Amplification

The Masters M28 uses Eigentakt™ amplifier technology, manufactured by NAD in license from Purifi. This new technology, which NAD was the first to embrace for the M33 Masters Series Streaming Amplifier, adds another level of precision by taking into account previously unknown effects of the output filter in the feedback loop and further refinement of the self-oscillating Class D technology as used by previous NAD Hybrid Digital designs. The result is a performance level that approaches the theoretical limit in measured performance, be it at whispering levels or at full power.

In common with the previous generations of NAD Hybrid Digital technology but unlike most class D amplifier designs, the M28 is impervious to the loudspeaker load it is presented with, maintaining the same wide and even bandwidth response irrespective of the speaker’s impedance and at the same time providing high current capability. The continuous 200W into 8 ohms on tap for all channels driven at the same time and 700W dynamic power into 4 ohms is testament to this.

Inherent to the Eigentakt™ technology is its very analogue-like behaviour in the unlikely event the amplifier is driven into clipping. Whereas many class D designs can become unstable, Eigentakt™ behaves in a way similar to the benign way of clipping with instant recovery of well executed traditional class A/B amplifiers.

The sonic character of the M28 only reinforces the story told by the numbers. This is an amazingly powerful and transparent amplifier bringing new levels of refinement and dynamics at any level.

Fully Balanced Audio

The same efficient audio interface used by studios provides the highest level of signal integrity with the lowest noise floor.

Locking connectors and special interface electronics allow long cable runs without noise pickup or signal loss. All you get is awesome sound without the possibility of noise pickup or interference.

Effortless Power

As our most powerful amplifier ever, the M28 can pump out over 700W into difficult loads to follow complex dynamic peaks in your movies and music. Everything from rim shots to asteroid explosions sound remarkably real and immersive.

The M28 has power reserves to meet the demands of the latest high-resolution digital soundtracks. Thanks to the advanced Purifi Eigentakt™ amplifier technology, all this monster power comes at a lot less cost than traditional technology and delivers more power and performance!

BluOS High-Res Music Streaming

The Bar has been Raised with the Masters M33 BluOS Streaming DAC Amplifier
Our Flagship Model Builds On Remarkable Success with Advanced Features, Cutting-Edge Technology and High Power

Part of a growing ecosystem of compatible products, BluOS tightly integrates hardware and software for an exceptional user experience. The only true wireless High-Resolution multi-room system available today, BluOS supports the new standard for High Res streaming, Master Quality Authenticated (MQA). BluOS also supports over 20 free and paid subscription services as well as supporting locally stored music libraries. With BluOS, the M33 retains all the audiophile features and further adds a range of facilities that will expand its capabilities yet simplifies ease-of-use at the same time. Operable with the BluOS app, the supplied remote control or through hands-free control with any Amazon Alexa device, the M33’s front panel never needs to be touched.

DIRAC Live Room Correction On Board

Experts agree that room acoustics are the weakest link in most sound systems with room reflections deteriorating tonal balance and dynamics. Dirac, one of the most highly regarded Room Correction systems available, not only adjusts for frequency response, but unlike other room correction systems, it also optimises the impulse response. By optimizing the speaker/room interface, music sounds more natural and lifelike. Supplied with the M33 is a precision microphone to measure the room at and around the listening position so your system can be precisely calibrated for optimum performance. Even the most sophisticated loudspeakers can be markedly improved using Dirac calibration. Each of the 5 Dirac memory slots can store a unique room measurement or different frequency target curves to suit a particular musical taste or genre.

Flexibility Meets Long-Term Value

In its standard form, the M33 is very complete with a wide range of in/outputs, BluOS, Dirac, HDMI and more already fully integrated. It will meet the requirements of the most demanding users. To minimize the risk of future obsolescence, the M33 comes with two MDC (Modular Design Construction) slots that allow for further expansion. NAD introduced the MDC platform well over a decade ago and allowed updating products with new technologies which didn’t even exist at time of introduction

Connection and Wireless Flexibility

Whether looking to connect digital or analogue sources, the M33 comes well equipped to accommodate for all of these: 6 digital inputs and 3 analogue inputs, including MM phono. Around back, the rear panel hosts two sets of speaker outputs capable of bi-wiring and a stereo Subwoofer Output with a fully configurable Digital Crossover. Airplay 2 and Bluetooth AptX-HD allow for local wireless streaming from a phone or tablet.

Phono and Headphones Are Not Forgotten

The M33 has a high-quality MM Phono Input that rivals specialized outboard units. Accurate RIAA equalization, a clever phase cancelling infrasonic filter, and a huge overload margin combine to bring out the best in LPs. Furthermore, headphone enthusiasts will delight at the sound of the discrete headphone amplifier, which is able to drive even planar and high impedance studio phones. With high voltage and low output impedance, headphones will sound their best. For those who wish to enjoy their headphones but not be tethered to a cable, the integrated Bluetooth AptX-HD module makes it possible to enjoy wireless headphones as well.

Attractive Design With Outstanding Ergonomics

The all alloy casework is elegant yet practical. The single control knob for volume is supplemented by a colour LCD touchscreen display. Rigid panels with magnetic iso-point feet provide a solid foundation for the multi-layer circuit boards and intricate internal construction. The M33 employs a completely modern and fresh take on the traditional stereo amplifier, with features and performance from the future.

Smart Home Integration Made Easy

BluOS provides hands-free control with full integration of any Amazon Alexa device. Through Airplay 2, control is also possible with Siri. Considerable effort has been spent to make the M33 fully compatible with all the leading smart home systems from leading companies like Apple, Crestron, Control4, Lutron, KNX and many others. This means that along with lighting, shades, HVAC, and security, the integrator or user can seamlessly control the BluOS multi-room music system from a common interface. All integrations are certified for reliable operation. The custom BluOS Apps for iOS and Android tablets and phones, as well as desktop control from Windows and Apple OS are available free-of-charge and are updated regularly.
